The Dallas Stars are making a pit stop between road trips in Dallas tonight, taking on the Ottawa Senators.

After losing to the Senators early in the season, the Dallas Stars will attempt to even up the series tonight and bounce back from a terrible loss to the Penguins.

Injuries have been a mess for the Stars, but at least Devin Shore will be back tonight.

Shore has had a much better season this year after having a disappointing 2017-18, and he’s been providing some solid depth offense.

More from Blackout Dallas

Shore’s return will help the offense, which the Stars desperately need to improve if they want to win some games with the defensive and goaltending injuries.

Tomorrow night’s game will probably be a bit of a write-off as the team heads into Colorado for their fifth game in seven days with a decimated roster and missing their starting goaltender, so the Stars really need a win tonight.

They will have one new face on the ice tonight, as Taylor Fedun makes his first appearance for the Stars. He’s played for other NHL teams before in his career, but was traded to the Stars a few weeks ago because of the injuries to the defense.
