The Dallas Stars will wager their 7 game winning streak in Vegas tonight as they take on the Golden Knights. This will be the first game of their Pacific division tour out west. This will be the perfect test to see if they belong in playoff conversations early on in the season. Here is how the Stars can beat the Golden Knights and push their winning streak to 8 straight games.

Dallas Stars vs Golden Knights: 3. Tune out the crowd

If you were watching the last Stars game on TV, you could hear how loud the crowd was through the speakers of your television. The Stars are going to enter another arena tonight where the crowd is just as loud. Stars have got to tune out the Golden Knights crowd and just play the Stars hockey we are used to seeing.

Dallas Stars vs Golden Knights: 2. Need some “Ace of Spades” magic tonight

Roope Hintz better being that “Ace of Spades” play tonight against the Golden Knights. I would like to see him and the Minuteman line start tonight and get that early goal to take the crowd out of the game early. If the Stars allow them to score first, we might be losing that winning streak tonight.

Dallas Stars vs Golden Knights: 1. Unleash the Otter

Jake Oettinger would benefit greatly if he started tonight against the Golden Knights. It would give Bowness more evidence that he is ready to be a starting goaltender in this league and would trust him more. Holtby needs a rest after starting in the last couple of games and Otter should be ready for a challenge tonight.

Golden Knights players to watch

Robin Lehner

Lehner will probably be the starting goaltender for the Golden Knights tonight. The Stars remember him from the Canadian bubble in the Western Conference Finals as he started between the pipes. Hopefully, the Stars can lower that  .910 save percentage he has tonight.
