Well, the second half of the 2021-22 NHL Hockey season starts tonight for the Dallas Stars as they look to take on the Nashville “Trashville” Predators in Dallas. This will be the first of 8 straight conference games some of which the Stars are making up from their covid hiatus. Let’s hope Joe Pavelski brought some of that Vegas luck back with him from the All-Star Game.

Dallas Stars vs Nashville Predators: 3. Attack out of the gate

The Stars need to be “swinging” after the opening face offs these next eight games if they want a shot at making the Stanley Cup Playoffs this year. Bowness needs to just start the Minutemen line for the rest of this month. Let’s just hope that Joe Pavelski brings that Vegas luck and “calls” every goal like he did in the 21 in 22 event he participated in Las Vegas.

Dallas Stars vs Nashville Predators: 2. Pray for Juuse Saros

The Stars should start praying that Juuse Saros is starting in net tomorrow night for Nashville. He will probably still have some of that bad mojo from all the goals he allowed for the Central Division vs the Metropolitan game. If he does start, the Stars just need to overwhelm him by just firing the puck at the net. I would like to see his fellow Central Division teammate Joe Pavelski poke a couple of pucks past him.

Dallas Stars vs Nashville Predators: 1. Start a conference win streak

The Stars need to let the Central Division know they are ready to compete for the playoffs. What better way to let it be known than by racking up conference wins to start off the second half of the hockey season. If the Stars can win a bunch of these conference games to start off the second half of the season, this would be huge for the team’s morale.
