The Dallas Stars can’t celebrate too hard from Wednesday’s comeback victory against the Kings. They have make their last trip up to Winnipeg for the season to take on the Jets. If the Stars are able to win Friday in Winnipeg, they can possibly ground the Jets from making the playoffs.

Dallas Stars vs Winnipeg Jets Preview: 3. Lock on to their net

Lets not go to overtime for a third straight game against them Friday. I don’t know if Stars fans could bare another OT win against them this season. The only way that the Stars can prevent another OT game is to score early and often and take their home crowd out of the game. Maybe Alexander Radulov can continue his scoring streak Friday night.

Dallas Stars vs Winnipeg Jets Preview: 2. Give Otter a rest

The Star’s fan base loves Otter and I know the Stars will do everything in their power to extend him for a long time. I’m just concerned that if they keep starting him between the pipes, he will get burned out so bad and wouldn’t perform well in the playoffs if we made it this season. Braden Holtby is more than capable of being a starting goaltender and get a couple of wins.

Dallas Stars vs Winnipeg Jets Preview: 1. Keep getting power play goals

The Stars need to change up their entire power play offense. The fans are tired of watching them pass it around for a majority of the extra man advantage. They need to adapt a “crash the net” type of offense. There have been a majority of games this season where the opponent gives the Stars extra man opportunities to win the game, and they haven’t capitalized on them.
