The Dallas Stars continue their road trip in Canada as they take on the Montreal Canadiens Thursday night. This will be the final game against Montreal as the Canadiens won the first game back in Dallas. The Stars also look to bounce back on the road from the hideous loss they took to an AHL goalie in Toronto a couple of days ago. Here is how the Stars can get back at the Canadiens and pick up 2 points.

Dallas Stars vs Montreal Canadiens: 3. Score! Score! Score!

This is a revenge game for the Dallas Stars and what better way to make the Canadiens pay is by scoring first and continuing to score at will. The Stars remember how bad they lost to the Canadiens at home and what better way to repay the favor is to destroy them in their own arena. Hopefully, Bowness can learn balanced line chemistry and create a balanced scoring line by then.

Dallas Stars vs Montreal Canadiens: 2. Please help Oettinger

The Stars need to learn that Jake Oettinger can’t win every game for them. They need to play some defense so he doesn’t get overwhelmed and allows goals to go in. If the Stars can create some defense and get the puck out of their zone, Oettinger can make more highlight-reel saves like the one in Toronto the other night.

Dallas Stars vs Montreal Canadiens: 1. Win

The Stars are getting closer to the point where we will start seeing teams clinch playoff spots in three weeks. Time is slipping away from them getting back into the Wildcard spots in the Western Conference. They need to start winning in regulation and earn 2 points for each win. It’s the only way if the players want to continue playing past the regular season. Like Legendary former Oakland Raider General Manager Al Davis said, “Just Win Baby!!”
