After the amazing statement win in Vegas Monday night, the Dallas Stars will now travel to San Jose for a Wednesday night game. The Stars will be entering the Shark Tank in San Jose to take on the Sharks. The Stars will not be featured on an episode of the popular TV show Shark Tank. The Stars are entering one of the most feared hockey arenas to play in. Joe Pavelski can attest to how rowdy the fans are to their opponents that enter. Here are the three keys to the game for the Stars tonight against the Sharks.

Dallas Stars vs San Jose Sharks Preview: 3. Continue the scoring onslaught

The Stars need to continue to get the puck past the opposing goaltender. The Stars did a good job of that, especially against Vegas Monday night. It’s going to be harder to score tonight because the crowd is going to be loud causing the Stars to make mistakes. If the Stars can get out to an early lead and take the crowd out of it, the Stars can exit the Shark Tank with another huge win.

Dallas Stars vs San Jose Sharks Preview: 2. Otter night

Expect Jake Oettinger between the pipes for Dallas tonight in San Jose. Basically, Jake Oettinger has been a brick wall for Dallas these last 14 games for Dallas. His record is 10-3-1 with a .940 save percentage. Nothing really else to say about how good he’s been lately. Scott Wedgewood will most likely get the start on Thursday against the Los Angeles Kings.

Dallas Stars vs San Jose Sharks Preview: 1. Drain the tank

As I mentioned above, The Stars need to take the crowd out of the game tonight. They are known for having one of the rowdiest crowds in the Pacific Division. If the Stars can take their rowdy crowd out of the game early, it’s going to make life easier for the Stars to get the win tonight. This should be a “slam dunk” win for the Stars but only if they can get out to an early lead and protect Wedgewood.
