If you’re looking to buy tickets to catch a few games at the American Airlines Center, these are the best ones for the money:

It goes without saying that opening night is a hot ticket. This season, though, the Stars will host the NHL’s newest franchise in the Las Vegas Golden Knights in the first game of their franchise history.

Ultimately it’s the benchmark for the season and there’s no reason to believe this game won’t be sold out. With that said, you should buy your tickets soon to ensure you don’t miss out on the kick-off to the 2017-18 season.
October 10th vs. Detroit Red Wings
The very next home game is worth attending if you’ve been a longtime Stars fan – or if you miss out on opening night seats. Former Dallas Stars defenseman Trevor Daley will be making his much anticipated return to Dallas.
He joined the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2015-16 season before joining the back-to-back Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins. Unfortunately timing wasn’t on his side for his return to Big D, but this season he’s slotted to return and fans should expect a high-quality tribute.
Daley spent 11 seasons with the Stars before his departure and was a staple on the blue line for nearly that whole time. He was also the last remaining player from the 2008 Western Conference Final Stars team.
In short, the night will be one for the books.
November 24th vs. Calgary Flames
Lastly, as part of the celebration of 25 years in Dallas, the Stars will be retiring Jere Lehtinen‘s No. 26 the day after Thanksgiving. Lehtinen spent his entire 14-season career with the Stars and was on the 1999 Stanley Cup team.
He suited up 875 times for Dallas, scoring 514 points. Lehtinen was a three-time Frank J. Selke Trophy winner – awarded to the best defensive forward in the league – putting him in an elite group of players.
If No. 26’s celebration is anything close to what the Stars did for No. 9 a few years back, this game is a can’t miss for any die-hard Dallas Stars fan.
