It’s finally Christmas Day, and we hope the holiday spirit finds you well like it found the Dallas Stars on Saturday night. Merry Christmas, Stars fans.
As Christmas morning dawns and the wrapping and tissue paper begin to fly across your living room, we want to extend some warm holiday wishes your way.
From all of us here at Blackout Dallas, we want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! We trust that you will spend it safely and joyfully with family and friends. Or you could spend it watching Alexander Radulov’s shootout goal from Saturday, which is a great idea as well!
With the roster freeze and league break on its second day, both the players and front office executives from all 31 NHL teams get to spend the entire day with their families as well. The Dallas Stars are off until December 27 when they face the Minnesota Wild. This is a break that they have earned entirely.
The Stars are 37 games into their 2017-18 regular season, and the results up to this point are encouraging. Dallas sits at a record of 20-14-3 and has picked up points in 11 of their last 15 games (9-4-2). It’s been a fun ride, especially over the last week, and only looks to be getting more entertaining.

We will be back tomorrow with more in-depth Dallas Stars coverage and to prepare you for the Stars’ showdown in Minnesota. We’ll have more new Stars content than you can shake your new Victory Green Adidas or Fanatics jersey at.
Lastly, even though Thanksgiving is last month’s news, we’d still like to once again extend our thanks to each and every one of you. Thanks for sticking with us this season and constantly returning to the site for new content. It definitely means a lot, so we thank you for your curiosity and fandom.
The Dallas Stars have made things interesting all season and there’s plenty left to be played, so we will likely have plenty to write about. But that’s why we stick around, and it’s probably why you keep clicking back. As the great Mark Stepneski once tweeted, “It’s always an adventure with the Stars.” That’s probably what makes them so fun.
We hope Victor E. Claus treated you well this morning and hooked you up with some new Stars gear! From Stars beanies to stay warm to even an autographed puck, we hope you got some sick new Stars memorabilia and merchandise! If you received anything Stars-related that you are rather proud of, make sure to share it with us on Facebook or Twitter!
